季大伯是浙江台州人，2007年在杭州“湖墅嘉园”小区买了套商品房，委托给中介出租几年后一直闲置。2022年，他退休后打算每月到杭州小住，将房子重新装修了，把门锁换成密码锁。去年装修完成后，季大伯几乎每个月都会到杭州住几天，最近一次是2月20日。

4月2日，季大伯的儿子季先生告诉澎湃新闻（www.thepaper.cn），3月26日父亲回杭州的家时，输了两次密码都没打开门。邻居告诉他，里面住着一位女士和两个孩子，大概一周前搬来的，他们以为是季大伯的亲戚。

“父亲知道里面住着人，就找来物业一起敲开了门，发现住着一个40多岁的女子，带着两个孩子，一个十七八岁，另一个三四岁，沙发、阳台堆满衣服，厨房里到处是没洗的碗，家里的几个红包也不见了，里面有一千多元。”季先生说，陌生人不仅买了冰箱、电视，还装了网线。
