近期美国FDA启动对“网红减肥药”Semaglutide的副作用风险调查。与此同时，《自然医学》发文称服药未增加自杀风险。

Semaglutide在减肥适应症获批后供不应求，此后被曝出存在增加自杀意念，胃瘫及脱发等一系列副作用。在FDA数据库2.3万份不良反应报告中，胃肠道反应占了一半，有144例是自杀意念。此前的减肥药主要针对肠道和脑内调节食欲和饱腹感的激素起效，也就有了精神作用，例如利莫那班因自杀意念被撤出欧洲市场。

为明确Semaglutide风险，研究人员收集了24万名肥胖者和1万名糖尿病患者信息。肥胖者服药6个月后，较使用奥利司他等其他减肥药的对照组，出现自杀意念的风险降低了56%—73%，而糖尿病患者自杀意念也减少了49%—64%。

另外，多项报告称该减肥药或许有戒烟戒酒的效果，反而对心理健康有正面效果。目前已有课题组针对其戒烟以及改善抑郁症的效果开展临床试验。
